What is the Simplifying Exponents Exercise Generator?
This generator creates exercises for multiplying two powers with the same base. The student must apply the rule for multiplying powers with the same base (exponents are added).
Usage
Two powers with the same base being multiplied will be displayed. Write the resulting base and resulting exponent in the fields. For example, for 2³ × 2⁴, write base 2 and exponent 7.
