This exercise practises comparing integers. Remember that on a number line numbers get smaller as you go left and bigger as you go right. So −7 is smaller than −2, and any negative number is smaller than any positive one.

What does this generator do?

Picks two integers in the range −15 to 15 — at least one of them is usually negative — and you choose the right relation symbol.

How to use it

Picture a number line in your head. Whichever number sits further to the right is the bigger one. If you compare two negatives, the one closer to zero is the bigger one.
