Terms of Use
Mathedu.online · Effective 6 September 20261. Who provides the service, and to whom
Mathedu.online is operated by MB Market, s.r.o. Identification details are in the legal notice.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2. What the service offers
Mathedu.online is an educational web application with mathematics exercises and articles for pupils aged roughly 5 to 15, in five languages and following the curricula of several countries.
The content is free and available without an account. An account exists so that results carry across devices.
We extend and revise the content continuously. We make no commitment that any particular exercise, article or feature will remain available.
3. Accounts
An account is created by an adult — a parent, legal guardian or teacher. By registering you confirm that you are at least 18 and act in one of those roles. Children appear under the account as profiles with a nickname; we collect neither their name nor their age.You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity under your account. If you suspect misuse, change your password immediately and tell us.
You may delete your account at any time in its settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — every stored result goes with it. Before deleting, you can save them with the Download my data button.
We may suspend or restrict an account used in a way that breaches these terms or endangers the operation of the service. Where circumstances allow, we will give notice first.
4. How you may use the content
Exercises, articles, illustrations and the application's source code are protected by copyright and belong to the operator or its licensors.
You may:- use the content for personal learning and homework,
- print exercises and tests and use them in your own classroom,
- link to any page.
- systematically download, copy or bulk-harvest the content by automated means (scraping or crawling beyond ordinary search engine indexing),
- use the content to train machine learning models,
- resell, sub-license or pass off the content as your own,
- remove or obscure attribution.
Any use beyond the above needs our prior written permission. For school and non-profit use, get in touch — we usually agree.
5. How the service may not be used
In particular, you may not: circumvent or interfere with technical and security measures, place an unreasonable load on the infrastructure, attempt unauthorised access to other people's accounts or data, or introduce harmful content into the application.
The text fields in exercises are for answers. Do not enter personal data there, or anything you would not want stored — for some exercises the answer content is saved so that the history can be displayed.
6. Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for smooth operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from error, or that it will work in every browser and on every device. Operation may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or operational reasons.
We may change or discontinue the service at any time. If we discontinued it, we would tell registered users by e-mail with reasonable notice so they can download their data.
7. Educational content and liability
We prepare and review the content carefully but do not warrant that it is complete or free of errors. Curricula differ between countries and year groups and they change; placing a topic in a year group is our best interpretation, not an official position.
The application supplements teaching, it does not replace it, and it is no substitute for professional educational or psychological advice. We guarantee no particular learning outcome and no improvement in marks.
We are liable for damage only to the extent that liability cannot be excluded by law — that is, for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Liability under mandatory consumer protection provisions is unaffected.
8. Links to third-party sites
The site contains links to external pages whose content we do not control and for which we are not liable. The operator of the linked page is always responsible for its content.
9. Data protection
How we handle data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, particularly as the service gains features. The current version is always on this page with its effective date. A material change affecting registered users will be announced by e-mail at least 30 days in advance; if you do not agree with it, you may delete your account before it takes effect.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in another European Union Member State, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the state of your habitual residence, and you may also bring proceedings before the court where you live.
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
12. Miscellaneous
If any provision proves invalid, the remainder stays in force and the invalid provision is replaced by one that comes closest to its purpose.
