What does this generator do?
The generator draws two crossing lines and labels one angle. You decide and work out either the vertical (= the same) or the supplementary (= 180° minus the given) angle.
How to solve it
Vertical angles are always EQUAL — they sit across the intersection. Supplementary angles sit on the same straight line, so their sum is 180° — subtract the given angle from 180°.
