Correct
In this exercise you will practice rounding large numbers to different place values. The rule is simple: look at the digit right after the place you are rounding to. If it is 5 or more, round up; if it is less than 5, round down.
What is the generator?
The generator creates a five- to seven-digit number and picks a place to round to – tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands or hundred thousands.
How to use
Read the question, round the number using the "5 or more, round up" rule and type the result into the box. For example, 45,678 rounded to the nearest thousand is 46,000 (because the hundreds digit is 6).
