Correct
In this exercise you divide a decimal by a single-digit whole number — the answer always works out cleanly (no remainder). You set out a normal short-division calculation; the moment you cross the decimal point in the dividend, carry the decimal point straight up into the answer.
What does this generator do?
Picks a quotient with 1 or 2 decimal places and a single-digit divisor (2 to 9). The dividend is built so the division comes out exactly.
How to use it
Divide just like you would with whole numbers. When you reach the decimal point in the dividend, carry the decimal point straight up into the answer — right above where it is in the dividend.
