What does this generator do?
The generator always rolls a new problem with a friendly divisor (e.g. 0.3 or 1.5) and a whole or half-step quotient. Click "New problem" for a fresh one.
How to solve it
Shift the decimal point in the divisor to the right until it becomes a whole number. Shift the dividend by the same number of places. Then divide as usual. Example: 1.5 ÷ 0.3 → 15 ÷ 3 = 5.
