What does the generator do?
The generator picks one of the Pythagorean triples (3, 4, 5), (5, 12, 13), (6, 8, 10), (8, 15, 17), (9, 12, 15) and shows you the hypotenuse together with one leg. The other leg is always a whole number.
How to solve
Square the hypotenuse, subtract the square of the known leg, then take the square root of the result. With Pythagorean triples the answer is a whole number.
