This exercise practises finding a common percent of a whole number — without a calculator. The numbers are chosen so the answer is always a whole number. Use the friendly tricks: 10 % is one tenth, 50 % is half, 25 % is a quarter.

How to use it
10 % = divide by 10. 50 % = halve. 25 % = halve and halve again. 75 % = three quarters (half plus half-of-half). 20 % = divide by 5.
